Palm Springs Homes for Sale - Twin Palms, $642,500.

I saw this 3 bedroom 2.5 bath remodeled Alexander at 1820 S Aquanetta Dr. in Palm Springs' Twin Palms neighborhood today and was impressed by much of the remodel.  The flooring in the common areas of the home is white terrazzo tile with flecks of blue. They are quite nice, as is the sandblasted tongue and groove ceiling, which continues throughout to the eaves and is seen through the clearstory windows.

The architectural metal reveals, which separate the stucco on the exterior of the home, successfully give the home a more horizontal look. They are a very nice touch.  The seamless metal roof ties in nicely.

Summer Vacation in Idaho

I just recently returned from vacation in Idaho, including visits to The Grand Tetons National Park and Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.  We rented a great "cabin" in Driggs ID, on the west side of the Grand Tetons.

It was great to get out in nature and smell fresh mountain air!  

Since this blog is about real estate, I thought I'd share some photos of houses near the cabin (which is really a house!) we stayed in.

William Holden Home in Deepwell Sold!

Palm Springs' Deepwell neighborhood was once home to William Holden.  His former home at 1323 S Driftwood sold last week for $1,349,000. per the Desert Area MLS.

The home is a wonderful example of original mid century architecture with walls of glass, terrazzo flooring, post and beam construction and tongue and groove ceilings. The home sits on almost one acre of land.

It will be exciting to see what the new owner will do (if anything?) to this prize property.
