Raised in Austin, Texas, Russell moved to San Francisco in 1994 to continue his career in retail banking, where he gained extensive experience in contracts, lending, escrow, and appraisals. While in banking, Russell managed groups of diverse individuals with great success and exceeded customer service and sales goals set by the company.
In 2003, he relocated to Palm Springs where he launched his real estate sales career.
Russell spends time researching marketplace trends, studying competitive valuations & pricing and keeping abreast of market changes that might affect his clients. Russell is also an avid user of online media and optimizes HOM Sotheby’s distinctive marketing capabilities and online resources to reach a broad-yet-discriminating international market.

Russell graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in geography with an emphasis on urban geography and spatial analysis. He earned a minor in economics.
