Another great list of houses going into escrow. And now after the season has officially ended in Palm Springs. And this list includes two houses listed well over the $Million Dollar mark.
The house on Sevilla is a wonderful house that my partner and I had our eye on for a bit. It sold for $2,000,000 in early '08, which shocked the hell out of me because I would have thought that everyone could see the writing on the wall that spelled out the implosion of the real~estate market. I guess those buyers paid no heed to the warning signals and over~payed for this house. Now it is listed for $1.5M and we all are wondering what it went into escrow for. It's a beautiful large house and it's very green friendly. I love the finishes in the house: it's truly a work of art.
The other house that I just loved was the one in Las Palmas Heights. The James Cioffi designed house in the gated compound. That house is also wonderful and I love the finishes and the design of the spaces. It's wonderful seeing people taking advantage of the market conditions.
