large patio for lounging |
If you like mid century architecture and you're looking for a condo in Palm Springs, you should see this one. Lots of natural light floods this condo through ample glass, including the triangular windows formed by the folded plate roof. Designed by Barry Burkus, AIA in 1960, Park Imperial South still screams mid century modern today. The Homeowner's Association is intent on keeping the buildings and grounds as true as possible to the original design and aesthetic. The recent installation of a new pool enclosure is a good example of the board's design sense.
This condo has 3 bedrooms, one of which opens to the open living room and makes a great den or office space, and two bathrooms. The second guest bedroom, along with living room, has direct access to the oversized patio. The master suite is a good size and offers lots of natural light.
