Congrats Russell-
That's a great house on a great lot, which just needs the right owner(s) to bring about its potential. I live just around the corner, so I'll try to drop in and wish them well. Though it seems they're doing pretty well as you got them a great deal for the sq. footage and a corner lot.

Ooh, I love that place. That's a great location on Mesquite. Was the interior at all remodeled or did it need work? Just curious.

Hey, R,
What did the home that was on Mesquite that was last listed for 709,000 settle for? I think it just closed the other day. Thanks.

Yes, they did get a good deal on the home. It does need some work, in and out, but it does have great bones and I don't think it'll take an awful lot to get the home looking great!

852 ($709K) Mesquite is still pending; it should be closing any day now. I'll keep you posted. It's a great house!

Yeah, I too would love to hear what 852 Mesquite went for. I live just a couple doors down and am very interested in seeing what it sold for. They had done a really nice job refurbishing that place. I worry that they most likely didn't get their money out of it.

Is anyone surprised?

Very surprised. I thought that house would at least go for close to 7. That's a little upsetting, but congrats to the buyer for getting what I think is a steal at that price.
