Nice to see things for over a million going under contract. Usually that's the signs of change. Now is the time to buy I suppose before things start heading too far north again.
There's some great homes on the market, but they don't seem to be lasting nearly as long as they were. People are swoopin them up. Anyone know what's going on with the Mondrian Hotel. Any progress?
I agree with the poster who wrote @ the million dollar houses going into contract. That is a GREAT sign. Let's hope that the deals close as planned and that the summer ahead is a good one. I came close to going into escrow on the Alta property that just went on the market, I really loved the house but I decided I wanted to be in Old Las Palmas instead and I backed out before signing. I wonder what the house will close at?
Things are selling. And great listings (not total dump fixers) are popping up every day and several are only lasting a few days before finding buyers (who are getting great deals and future investments). Nice to see the tides a' turning.
Totally agree. An amazing place just came up in Tahquitz which looks unbelievable for the price-699 thousand. There's lots of them out there for the picking. Wish I hadn't just bought and had the money to buy something bigger before the market skyrockets again. Oh well. I'll keep playing the Lottery.
My friend who's an architect went by the house at 1070 Mesquite for 699. He's a very tough critic and said it was a really nice place. Supposedly they did everything to it.
